I bought the "Dawn of The Dead" DVD today, I thought I'd watch it on my nice new 30 inch wide-screen TV I bought last week..or was it two weeks ago? The days are a blur. Anyway after I had it in my hand I realized ..hey I don't have a DVD player! Well, I mean I'm not an idiot, I have a DVD player but it's in my computer, my 18.1" LCD is nice for movies but it's weird watching it while looking over the pile of junk on my desk. So I bought a DVD player/ recorder! woo hoo! Of course the cheap one was out of stock so I had to get the more expensive one ($500!! shhh...) . Here I am after watching the movie...next time I think of watching a horror movie on a cold dark raining night, with thunder outside, all alone...someone tell me no, OK? Thanks.
And now for something completely different.
I miss my guitar. Oh it's right there in front of me, I just haven't played it in a long time. I started playing when I was 19, that's 16 years ago folks! I remember thinking it was too late, that I was too old to learn at 19 :P I've been trying to play all that time, no farther ahead than I was the day I picked it up. You have to practice..and practice...then practice some more then practice a lot more...don't go anywhere, have no friends and ...practice, practice, practice..tune it..then practice. Then, on the second day...you practice..practice......practice...
Stairway to Heaven? Not yet.
